Following retirement from Oklahoma Health Care Authority, her life revolved around helping Erik develop his thriving Freedom From Pain Institute business. In the early days of the institute, she would edit Erik’s articles, ship books, and (reluctantly) model for his therapy videos. As the institute began employing more staff, Teri was able to kick-back and enjoy cracking jokes on the sidelines of Erik’s workshops, while enjoying quality time with him at their Costa Rica home.
In her personal life, Teri radiated creativity and joie de vivre. She treasured art, books, plants, clothing, jewelry, and mostly…her dogs. She proudly displayed eclectic collections of art, pottery, and her beloved classic novels, from floor to ceiling in their OKC apartment. However, Teri was most proud of her daughter and two granddaughters whom she enjoyed teasing and loving them fiercely.
Everyone who knew Teri would tell you she lit up a room…. always remembered for her infectious laughter and witty (naughty) humor.
Teri is survived by her husband of 34 years, Erik Dalton, her siblings – Steve Moses and Mary Ellen Partain, her daughter Adrienne Kesinger and her spouse Jason, and two granddaughters – Kathryn and Amy.
